Visit of Chichibu (秩父, ちちぶ, Chichibu): Charm ① Hitsujiyama Park/Shibazakura no oka/Shibazakura/Shibazakura Festival

When you visit Tokyo, you may visit Chichibu (which is located in Saitama-ken) as well to enjoy the beautiful nature and some cultural architectures. Although Chichibu is a little bit far away from Tokyo, it is still worth visiting. After visiting the Hitsujiyama Park, you may visit the Shibazakura Station (芝桜駅) to see the Chichibu Railway, then you may walk to go to the Chichibu Shrine (秩父神社 Chichibu-jinja) and the Shaolin Temple. On the way, you can see several Cultural Properties as well. Besides that, there are many posters or related materials showing things about the famous animation Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, あの日見た花の名前を僕達はまだ知らない。』(あのひみたはなのなまえをぼくたちはまだしらない). I am going to share information and photos about this visit of Chichibu respectively in 3 posts. In this post, I am sharing information and photos about the Hitsujiyama Park and the Shibazakura.
